So....

...I signed up for a marathon (insert laughter here). I'm running the Nike's Women Marathon in October in San Francisco. I'm hoping that this will help keep me motivated through the summer. I signed up for this site Mapmyrun.com so that I can track how much I run per day and per week. I also looked up other sites on how to train and found an 18 week beginner runner's plan so I'm pretty excited about this. My mom and my sister ran last year and this year all three of us are going to do it. This will be my first marathon ever!! I used to be a pretty good runner, so let's hope I can pick it up again! Wish me luck!!

  1. I wish you GREAT SUCCESS!! How has your training been the last few weeks? Let me know when the date is in SF. I think i'll be moving to SLO at he end of May, so it could work out to watch you run. I've never been to a marathon before...and never plan on running one myself, but would love to support you!
